Privacy policy

The short version

StarkMeet is built to need as little data as possible. Meetings are not recorded. Video and audio travel directly between participants, encrypted with standard WebRTC encryption (DTLS/SRTP). We do not sell data, run ad trackers, or profile you.

What we process

• Meeting signaling: your display name and meeting code exist in memory only for the duration of the connection and are deleted when you leave.
• Media: video, audio and screen shares flow peer-to-peer and are never routed through or stored on our servers.
• Downloads: when you download the Windows app we count the download anonymously. No IP logging for this counter.
• Admin accounts: the email address of administrators is stored for sign-in purposes.
• Optional analytics: if enabled, standard Google Analytics measures aggregate page visits. It can be disabled by the site administrator at any time.

Cookies

The site uses a single first-party cookie for administrators staying signed in. Meeting guests get no tracking cookies.

Your rights

Since we store almost no personal data, there is generally nothing to export or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
